    Sponsorship and Exhibitor Guidelines

    1. Displays should be no higher than 8’ in the back. The 8’ back must not extend more than one-half the depth of the booth on the sides and then must drop down to no higher than 3’ toward the front of the booth. It is necessary to observe the courtesy to your neighbor and not obstruct the view of their booth. (Anything over 8’ must have prior approval of the Exhibit Committee, but in no case may it contain advertising.)

    2. The local Fire Department regulations specify that any display materials must be fire-retardant-treated materials.

    3. Exhibits must be left in place until Materials must be removed by 7 p.m. on Saturday. These regulations are due to liability responsibility until close of the convention, unless you are granted prior approval. Any materials or equipment remaining after Saturday at 7 p.m. will be at the owner’s risk.

    4. Exhibitors needing the services of a moving company must make arrangements with their own moving carrier. You are advised not to send any material directly to The Pasadena Convention Center as they have no means to receive your materials or storage space.

    5. Exhibitors using sound equipment of any type, at your booth, are to ensure the sound does not disrupt neighboring workshops or exhibits. This is a courtesy that must be adhered to and will be monitored.

    6. Exhibitors are not permitted to sell tickets, solicit donations, or solicit signatures or petitions on the floor of the Exhibit Hall.

    7. Exhibitors are responsible for the cleanliness and attractiveness of their booths. It is our expectation that each booth display products or services in a professional manner.

    8. Each exhibitor is required to check-in with the appropriate CMTA Exhibit Registration Booth to receive convention information and guidelines prior to setting up their booth.

    9. No helium balloons may be distributed, sold, or used as decorations at the Convention.

    10. All exhibitors who plan to sell merchandise MUST have a State of California Resale Number and are required to collect the current rate of sales tax. (Penalty is up to $1,000). Those who do not have this number must obtain, on their own behalf, such a certificate from the State Board of Equalization prior to setting up their booth. California State Board of Equalization (949)461-5706 or download forms and information at www.boe.ca.gov  Resale numbers MUST be on file with CMTA prior to setting up booth.

    11. Exhibitors who will not be selling anything must complete the State Board of Equalization Form BOE-410-D and submit a copy prior to set up.

    12. The Convention does not permit any exhibitor to sublet their space to another firm or organization. The space must be occupied by the contracted exhibitor only.

    13. Exhibitors are not permitted to distribute food items unless they are 1oz or less and wrapped. Beverages of any kind cannot be distributed at all.

    14. Exhibitors must not display any materials which are contrary to the beliefs or standards of CMTA. CMTA reserves the right to require you to remove any or all such item(s).

    STATEMENT OF FAITH

    1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

    2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

    4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit
      is absolutely essential.

    5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is
enabled to live a godly life.

    6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

    7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

AGREE TO PURPOSE STATEMENT AND STATEMENT OF FAITH
